Stop this power grab by MPs or chaos governs

Over the past three months Brexit has become a political crisis. Will it turn into a constitutional one, too? That is a serious risk tomorrow, as backbench MPs — with the help of a wayward Speaker — attempt fully to wrest control of the parliamentary agenda from government and dictate how it should act.

If they succeed, it won’t just affect the outcome of Brexit. It could fundamentally change how our democracy functions.
