Students will study international trade from multiple discipline and cultural perspectives, including law, economics, Maori studies, international relations, political economy and development studies. The course will cover key economic models and conceptual frameworks of international trade; cross-border legal regulation, including treaty- making, standard-setting, adjudication, and administrative action; the relationship between international trade and development; political economy with an Asia Pacific focus and a variety of perspectives from those involved in International trade including Maori.
