This course introduces students to assessment and intervention knowledge and skills for beginning health psychologists or affiliated helping professionals. Students will develop knowledge and skills in assessment, referral, brief interventions. This is a pre-clinical course. It does not involve work with clients. Students will be expected to take part in workshops and will practice skills in small groups with other students.
